WEIR (Ross and Cromarty)I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to a report to the effect that the British troops with the advance force in Egypt have found it necessary to alter the Lee-Metford bullet; and, if this report be correct, will he state why un-suitable bullets have been issued to the troops, to what extent the issue has been made, and the nature of the alteration?
