FARRELLI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether, in Ireland during the present year, it is intended not to mobilise any of the Militia Regiments, but simply to pay them their bounty at the gates of the barracks without allowing them access to their arms; and, if so, what is the reason for this course of action?
