GIBSON BOWLESI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Anglo-French Commission sitting in Paris on the affairs of the countries in West Africa adjacent to the Niger has arrived at an, agreement on the matters submitted to it; whether Her Majesty's Government can, consistently with the interests of the public service, give this House any information as to the progress made by this Commission; and whether, on the conclusion or negotiations, the papers relating to them will be laid upon the Table of this House?
MR. CURZONThe Commission has not yet arrived at an, agreement. I am afraid that I cannot give any information as to the progress of the negotiations at this stage. Nor can I yet make any statement as regards Papers.
