FIELD (Dublin, St. Patrick)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Government intend to introduce this Session a Measure to provide a Board of Agriculture and Industry for Ireland; and whether the establishment of a veterinary college in Dublin will be included.
§ MR. GERALD BALFOURThe Government have no expectation of introducing, during the present Session, a Bill to provide a Board of Agriculture and Industries for Ireland. The endowment of a Veterinary College would be a proper matter for the consideration of a Board of Agriculture, when created.
