MR. FIELDI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Government intend to bring in a Measure for the purchase of the Irish railways, or for their amalgamation under State, with a grant sufficient to substantially reduce passenger fares and goods tariffs?
