MR. H. ROBERTSI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether Her Majesty's Ministers have considered the reply of the Porte, received at the Foreign Office on 24th July, repudiating all responsibility for the losses sustained by British subjects during the Armenian massacres; and, if so, whether he will state what action they propose to take in reference to it?
MR. CURZONHer Majesty's Government must consider the course that they will pursue in consultation with the other Governments who are similarly interested in the matter; but I shall not, during the present Session, be able to make any announcement as to the procedure that may be adopted.
