§ MR. CALDWELL (Lanark, Mid)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury if he can state how much is estimated as for rent, annual maintenance, and cost of building required for the Wallace Gallery, in addition to the items specified in the Estimate?
§ MR. HANBURYNo rent will be payable for the Wallace Gallery. The estimated cost of maintenance in the present year is £300, which is provided in the Public Buildings Vote, sub-head (b). As shown in sub-head (a) of the 864 same Vote, the estimated cost of the building, including necessary alterations, is £109,000, of which £80,000 was voted last year and £25,000 in the present year, leaving £4,000 to be provided hereafter.
