§ MR. LEGH (Lancs, Newton)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether any further steps have been taken with reference to the establishment of a British post office at Salonika?
§ MR. HANBURYThe Postmaster General has been in communication through the Foreign Office with Her Majesty's Consul-General at Salonika with a view to the establishment of a British post office at that port. This correspondence has not yet been completed, but it is hoped that final arrangements will be made before long. The difficulty is, I believe, in connection with the Consular House.
