HERBERT ROBERTS (Denbighshire, W.)I beg to ask the secretary of Slate for India when the Papers concerning the Plague in India will be issued; and when he will lay upon the Table of the House the Acts recently passed in India dealing with the Indian Penal Code, the Criminal Procedure Code, and the Post Office?
§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR INDIAThe Papers in question were laid on the Table on the 24th of March, and copies were issued to Members of the House nearly throe weeks ago. As regards the other Papers asked for, they will be presented so soon as the Acts referred to have been considered by the Secretary of State in Council.
