MAURICE HEALY (Cork)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland when the rules provided for in the Registration (Ireland) 1201 Act just passed will be issued; whether they will affect the form of requisition necessary to be issued under the Parliamentary Registration Acts in April and May; whether in cases where such requisitions have been already issued they will be re-issued; and whether the rules will first be issued in a provisional form?
§ MR. GERALD BALFOURThe rules under the Registration Act are being prepared as rapidly as possible. I am informed they will not affect the forms to be issued in the present year, and that it will not be necessary to issue the forms a second time. The rules will not, in the first instance, be issued in a provisional form.
