§ MR. EDWARD M'HUGH (Armagh, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, (1) has his attention been drawn to a resolution of the 1222 governors of the Belfast Lunatic Asylum, requesting the Government to take over the management, and expense of the Irish asylums and make those institutions an Imperial charge; and (2) will he make provision to this effect in the Local Government Bill?
§ MR. GERALD BALFOURI have seen the resolution referred to in the first paragraph, and as regards the second paragraph I have nothing to add to my replies to the similar inquiries already addressed to me on the subject.
