§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has received a reply to the letter which he promised to address to the Court of Directors of the British North Borneo Company, in regard to a Petition to the Company from 25 merchants, traders, etc., of British North Borneo, setting forth certain grievances in the administration of the Colony; and, if so, whether he proposes to take any steps in the matter?
