GERALD BALFOURThe Commissioners have received an assurance from the Treasury that the making of deductions from the teachers' salaries in accordance with the new pension rules will not prejudice any rights which the teachers may have in the event of the rules being pronounced invalid, and the Commissioners have arranged to make the deductions in accordance with the rates of premiums laid down in the rules.
