§ MR. PINKERTONOn behalf of the hon. Member for West Waterford I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether, as the Estate Duty Grant is now divisible equally between the road authorities in Ireland and Poor Law Unions, and as in future it is intended that all urban sanitary authorities shall be the read authorities for their districts, it will be necessary to insert provisions in the Local Government (Ireland) Bill as to allocating to the urban sanitary authorities their proper proportions of said grant.
§ MR. GERALD BALFOURI think it is probable that provision such as suggested in this Question may be found necessary. The matter will be carefully considered.
