HC Deb 04 April 1898 vol 56 c36
MR. D. SULLIVAN

On behalf of the hon. Member for Cork (Mr. MAURICE HEALY), I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, in how many counties in Ireland there are now county treasurers other than banking companies?

MR. GERALD BALFOUR

There are five such counties, namely—Carlow, Londonderry, and Longford, and the counties of the cities of Galway and Kilkenny.
