I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the military stores required by the East African Protectorate are despatched by British or German steamers?

None of the stores, military or otherwise, required for the Uganda Railway, Uganda Protectorate, or East Africa 1652 Protectorate, have been shipped in German or in foreign steamers. The whole have been conveyed in British vessels.
