The jurisdiction and power to hear and determine appeals conferred by section twenty-four of the Judicature Act (Ireland) 1877, is hereby extended and shall apply to any Order or decision made by the High Court in Ireland or any Judge thereof, under any of the enactments set out in the schedule to this Act, anything in any of the said enactments to the contrary notwithstanding.

MR. MAURICE HEALY

moved, after the word "made," to insert the words, "after the passing of the Act." He said the Bill affected procedure only, and as it now stood it would operate re respectively, which he was sure was not the intention of the Government. The decision of the Court of Queen's Bench was final, but unless his Amendment were accepted, every decision given by the Court of Queen's Bench and the Court of Exchequer on a case stated in the past twelve months could he appealed against.
