§ MR. RICHARD M. DANE (Fermanagh, N.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland (1) whether he has received a copy of a Resolution passed by the Lisbellaw Loan Fund Board relating to the Report of the Commission appointed to inquire into the administration of the Loan Fund Acts in Ireland; and (2) whether he can state whether the Appendix to the said Report, containing the 1517 evidence given before the said Commission, has yet been published; and, if so, when the same will be available for the use of Members?
§ * MR. GERALD BALFOURI have seen the Resolution referred to in the first paragraph. The transcript of the evidence taken at the various inquiries held by the Committee has not been printed. The evidence was very fully reported in local newspapers, and, in view of the elaborate character of the Report of the Committee already presented to Parliament, and of the voluminous nature of the evidence taken at the inquiries, it is not considered necessary to lay the latter on the Table of the House.
