GERALD BALFOURThe statistics for 1896 are not yet tabulated, but for the previous year it appears that none of the pupils of Industrial Schools, the pupils of which were enrolled in National Schools, were examined in either practical agriculture or handicraft at the annual examinations held by the inspector of the National Board of Education.
