§ MR. MAURICE HEALYI beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, when the buildings in connection with the Cork Post Office extension will be commenced; and, what sum it is proposed to spend on the work?
§ MR. HANBURYIt has been necessary to seek compulsory powers for the acquisition of certain of the interests in the properties which it is desired to 573 obtain for the enlargement of the head Post Office at Cork, and the case is included in the Post Office Sites Bill winch it is proposed to introduce in the present Session of Parliament. No estimate has yet been prepared of the cost of the work, nor can any date be fixed when it will be begun.
