§ MR. HUDSON KEARLEY (Devonport)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether the Government have come to any decision as to the introduction this Session of a Bill to carry out the recommendations of the Select Committee on Food Products Adulteration?
§ THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURYI think the hon. Member for North Galway asked a question on this subject not many days ago, of my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Agriculture. My right hon. Friend answered that the introduction of the Bill referred to must depend upon the progress of public business. I am afraid I cannot anything to that answer at the present time.
§ MR. KEARLEYHas the right hon. Gentleman received a representation from the President of the Board of Agriculture in regard to a deputation that waited on him?
§ THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURYThe answer given by my right hon. Friend was not on the Minutes of Legislation on Food Products Adulteration, but on the condition of the House of Commons, of which I fear, WC are better informed than the deputation.
