SETON-KARR (St. Helen's)To call attention to the wholly inadequate production of food supplies within the area of the United Kingdom in relation to its large and increasing population; and to move, That, in the opinion of this House, the dependence of the United Kingdom on foreign imports for the necessaries of life, and the consequences that would arise there from in the event of war, demand the serious attention of Her Majesty's Government.
