WOODS (Essex, Walthamstow)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Admiralty how many qualified shipwrights are borne on Her Majesty's Navy List; what is the actual number employed; what arc the deficiencies in all ports at present; whether he is aware that the difficulty in obtaining properly qualified shipwrights for Her Majesty's Navy is to a large extent due to the delay or refusal of the Admiralty to rectify certain alleged grievances, and to improve their position and pay; and whether the Admiralty are prepared to take any action to redress the grievances complained of?
