COHEN (Islington, E.)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he is aware that the Royal Commission on the Water Supply of London have been unable to commence their inquiry in consequence of no rooms having been assigned to the Commission to hold their sittings; and whether he can state when the necessary accommodation will be provided and the inquiry commenced?
§ MR. CHAPLINI am informed that the Commissioners held their first meeting on May 29, when temporary 434 accommodation was provided for them. Offices have since been assigned to the Commission, and I am advised that the Inquiry is proceeding.
