§ *THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. GRAHAM MURRAY, Buteshire)The pier was completed at the beginning of March last, with the exception of a few repairs to the foundation. The trustees asked for an extension to the pier of 40 feet in July 1895, which was approved of and has been carried out. It is a fact that at dead low spring tides the head of the pier is dry.
