HC Deb 29 July 1897 vol 51 c1457
MR. HOGAN

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether a decision has yet been arrived at in the matter of providing the town of Thurles with more suitable and commodious premises for the transaction of postal and telegraphic business?

MR. RITCHIE (for Mr. HANBURY)

A decision has not yet been arrived at, but a fresh proposal which, it is hoped, may prove acceptable has been submitted, and is under consideration. The matter will be pressed forward as much as possible.
