§ MR. RICHARD M. DANE (Fermanagh, N.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has received a copy of a resolution passed unanimously by the Grand Jury of the county Fermanagh 306 requesting the Government, out of the Treasury Grant towards reduction of county rates, to set aside a portion for the relief of taxpayers in respect of the Lough Erne Drainage Tax; and whether the Government will comply with this request?
§ MR. GERALD BALFOURI have seen the resolution referred to. I must decline however, to anticipate the provisions of the Local Government Bill promised for next year.
