ASCROFTI beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury, in view of the recommendations of the Commission on Elementary Education in 1888, and of various Committees since that date in favour of a system of State-aided Superannuation, and also of the promises made by the Government in 1896 to bring in a Bill on the subject, whether he can give any information as to the date when the Bill will be introduced?
