MAURICE HEALYI beg to ask the Attorney General for Ireland whether he proposes this year to introduce any Bill consolidating Irish Acts; and whether, if the legal assistance at present available for work of this kind at the Irish Office is not sufficient, he will make representations to the Treasury to have the necessary assistance provided?
§ THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR IRELANDThe whole matter is at present under the consideration of the Irish Government, but, at this period of the Session, I cannot give any definite pledge that legislation on the subject will be introduced this year.
