§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERThe Foreign Office hope to lay on the Table in the course of the next few days a Blue-book containing the information asked for. The Comptroller and Auditor General will satisfy himself that the directions of Parliament with regard to the grant in aid have been carried out; but the expenditure of the Egyptian Government will not be audited by him. Egypt is not in the same position as Cyprus.
