HC Deb 05 February 1897 vol 45 c1528

Second Reading deferred till Tuesday next.

On the Motion "That this House do now adjourn,"

MR. LOUGH

said it was announced in the House last night that Monday would be devoted to getting Mr. Speaker out of the Chair, but just now the First Lord said they would take the Military Bands Bill on Monday. He would like to know whether, if they did not come to the Military Bands Bill on Monday it would be taken on Thursday before the Education Bill.

THE SECRETARY TO THE TREASURY (Mr. R. W. HANBURY,) Preston

said that the first Order on Monday would be the Army Estimates, with the Speaker in the Chair. There were certain Bills put down in the ordinary way to follow them, but he did not suppose they would be reached.

House adjourned at Five minutes after Twelve o'clock till Monday next
