HC Deb 05 February 1897 vol 45 cc1429-30
SIR ALBERT ROLLIT (Islington, S.)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, having regard to his reply to a question put by the hon. Member for South Islington previous to the Recess, to the effect that the Report of Lord Tweedmouth's Post Office Committee would be laid before Parliament, when such is likely to be the case?

MR. HANBURY

I have already answered similar questions. The Report is involving the consideration of many details, and I do not think it can be presented within a fortnight, at any rate.
