HC Deb 02 February 1897 vol 45 c1058
MR. W. S. GALLOWAY (Manchester, S.W.)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether any decision has yet been arrived at by the Military authorities with regard to the Hulme Cavalry Barracks; what troops are now occupying the said barracks; how long such troops have been there; and whether it is intended to make any immediate change with regard to cavalry barracks being occupied by infantry soldiers?

MR. BRODRICK

The Hulme Barracks are at present occupied by infantry, who have been there since the autumn. No immediate change is contemplated.
