asked whether it was not in order on this stage of the Appropriation, Bill to adduce reasons why a specific item should not be appropriated?

; No. The House having decided to appropriate that specific item, it cannot go back on the decision at which it has already arrived.

Then what is the cause of the Committee stage? [Laughter.]
