As from the first day of July one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, section six hundred and three of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894, shall cease to operate so far as it continues the exemptions granted by the section set out in the schedule to this Act.

moved to leave out all the words after "1894," and to insert the words— so far as it continues the exemptions granted by Section 59 of the Act passed in the sixth year of King George IV., chapter 125, and extended by the Order in Council of the 18th February, 1854, and the said Order in Council shall cease to operate in the case of ships or vessels on voyages between any port in Sweden or Norway and the port of the London.

moved to leave out the schedule.
