§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he is aware that the Report of the Royal Commission on the Highlands and Islands 1892, shows that 1,782,785 acres of land are available in the six crofting counties for new holdings, extension of existing holdings, and the creation of small farms; and, seeing that these lands are now largely used as deer forests, will he state whether a Bill will be introduced next Session for the purpose of giving the Highland crofters and cottars access to these lands at fair rents for agricultural and grazing purposes?
