§ CAPTAIN DONELANasked whether the sums allotted to these works for the present financial year would be spent upon them notwithstanding any delay that might occur in commencing them?
§ MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAINsaid that he could not give any definite pledge to the hon. Gentleman's Question, but the works would be proceeded with as rapidly as possible.
