DALZIEL (Kirkcaldy Burghs)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury, whether the proposal for a special pension to His Royal Highness, the late Commander-in-Chief is made with the concurrence of His Royal 65 Highness; whether any intimation has been received by the Government that His Royal Highness does not intend to avail himself of the proposed provision; and, whether the Government have any intention of withdrawing the proposal for a special pension.

§ MR. DALZIELMay I ask the right hon. Gentleman whether he is aware that in regard to his previous answers no question was put to him as to whether the Government was going to proceed with the matter. Are the Government going to withdraw the pension?
