I think myself that a good case can be established for extending some legislative regulation to fines and deductions from wages to shop assistants, but I doubt very much whether, in view of the hopes that I have of passing the measure this Session, it would be prudent to extend the scope of the proposed Bill beyond the classes affected by the present Truck Acts.
