I beg to ask the Vice President of the Committee of Council on Education, whether managers of denominational schools, in handing their schools over to School Boards for purposes of secular education only, are allowed to continue the teaching of denominational creeds and formularies?

A school transferred to a School Board comes under the provisions of Section 14 of the Elementary Education Act, 1870, only during the hours that the Board have control over the school by the arrangement for transfer.
