HC Deb 17 March 1896 vol 38 c1166
CAPTAIN GRICE - HUTCHINSON (Aston Manor)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether, with the view of securing the necessary efficiency, urgent requests have been lately received by officers commanding Artillery Militia Regiments to increase the present duration of training from 28 to 42 days; and, if so, what steps the Government intend to take in the matter?

* MR. BRODRICK

It is proposed to allow 11 of the regiments of Militia Artillery to train this year for the longer period of 42 days.
