O'MALLEY (Galway, Connemara)I beg to ask the Vice-President of the Committee of Council on Education, whether he is aware that a large section of public servants under the Education Department, hitherto known as inspectors' assistants of schools, have recently been styled sub-inspectors, and called upon to perform more responsible and onerous duties, and that their salaries have remained at the same scale as when they were only inspectors' assistants; and, if so, do the authorities contemplate any revision of the scale of payment?
