§ MR. REGINALD McKENNAI wish to ask the Under Secretary for Foreign Affairs a Question, of which I have given private notice, whether he has any information of the rumoured further defeat of the Italians; and, also, whether he has any news of the garrison of Kassala?
MR. CURZONNo, Sir; I have received no information of a further defeat of the Italians. As regards Kassala, the last information we had was that telegraphic communication was still open with it, from which we may conclude that, at present at all events, no unfortunate event has occurred there.
