I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, whether a representation from the Manchester Chamber of Commerce on the future of British protectorates and sphere of influence in the Niger Valley has been received at the Foreign Office; and whether the Manchester Chamber of Commerce now ask that the whole, including the territories administered by the Niger Company, should be united and placed under the Colonial Office?
