HC Deb 19 June 1896 vol 41 c1447
MR. DAVID THOMAS

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury, whether, having regard to the time that must elapse before the Reports of the Members of Parliament (Personal Interest) Committee, and of the promised Committee into the claims of urban rate-payers are in the hands of Members, he will postpone the further consideration of the Agricultural Land Rating Bill to another year of the Session.

THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR,) Manchester, E.

No, Sir, I see no reason for postponing the Bill.
