§ MR. JESSE COLLINGS moved, "That Clause 5 stand part of the Bill."
§ MR. LLOYD-GEORGE moved, "That the Chairman do report Progress, and ask leave to sit again."
§ MR. JESSE COLLINGSsaid he hoped the 12,000 members of the working classes who were waiting for this Bill would note the character of the opposition which was offered to it.
§ MR. LLOYD-GEORGEsaid the Government had got the whole time of the House, and might devote to the 283 working classes some of the time which they now devoted to the landlords.
