§ THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURYI am not sure who gave the promise to which the hon. Member refers, but it was not Her Majesty's present advisers. In any case, the question could not even be discussed until we have had an opportunity of studying the methods and results of the Inquiry into the financial relations with Ireland.
