§ MR WEIRI beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether, in view of the fact that the atmosphere in the tunnels on the Metropolitan Railway is foul and highly injurious to the health of persons travelling on that line, he will put in force the powers conferred on him under the Public Health Acts, or call upon the London County Council, or the local authorities, to take such steps as may be necessary to require the Metropolitan Railway Company to abate the nuisance?
