§ MAJOR WYNDHAM-QUIN (Glamorgan, S.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether his attention has been called to the fact that on the 18th June a French torpedo boat entered Jersey Harbour and took soundings over the adjacent coast; whether such proceedings are of frequent occurrence in the Channel Islands; and whether any steps have been or will be taken to prevent them?
