Mr. Bryn Roberts, —To move, That this House is of opinion that it is expedient to amend the Law relating to Parliamentary Elections, so as to secure that no candidate at an election shall be declared elected who has not received a majority of the votes recorded at such election, and that a second ballot be taken in cases where no candidate shall at the first ballot have received such majority of the votes recorded.—[Friday, 28th February.]
